About the wine:
Tropical, aromatic and full of character: Planeta make one of the world's best expressions of this beautifully aromatic grape variety. 10% is fermented in 225 L French oak barrique, afterwhich everything is rested on the fine lees. This gives the wine some roundness and texture to complement the mineral palate and deliciously southern-Italian aromatics of peach and grapefruit. Easily one of the great white wines from Southern Italy. 
 
Hand harvested from limestone-rich soils of Menfi, Sicilia.
