AROMA 2: ROSEMARY

Rosmarino. One of the most widely used herbs in Sicilian cooking, it has an uplifting, rich, warm peppery scent. Used widely rom savoury cuisine to sweet biscuits. It is actually a member of the mint family and its name comes from the latin for 'dew of the sea' with the latin word 'ros' meaning 'dew' and 'marinus' meaning 'of the sea'.
