St Veran, "Les Terres Noires" Cordier 2017
Rich and creamy, notes of vanilla and buttered popcorn, with lovely freshness.
St Veran is a communal appellation of the Maconnais region, delivering some of Burgundy's richer, more tropical fruited wines. It's more famous sister is Pouilly-Fuisse, so if you're a fan of Pouilly-Fuisse, St Veran offer excellent value, just as Pouilly-Fuisse offers excellent value for lovers of Burgundy! A classic white wine, rounded but fresh, a great pairing with saucy chicken or fish dishes.
