Stanlake Park is a historic estate in the Berkshire countryside.
Winemaker Nico & his wife Natalia have brought Italian & Argentinian flair to this most English of country estates, revitalising the estate's approach and winemaking, creating two sensational English - and sensationally English - still wines.
3 x Stanlake Park Bacchus 2019
Bacchus is a contender for England's flagship grape. It can be wildly herbaceous, but this example has been tamed into somehing much more delicate and genteel.
Fresh and crisp, with a hint of elderflower and cucumber-like freshness.
A light, delicate wine, perfect for garden lunches.
Stanlake Park Rosé of Pinot Noir
A dainty nose of fresh strawberries and roses define this elegant pale rosé.
The mouth is full of pink grapefruit, passionfruit and a surprisingly long
lemony finish. A truely English Ros(é), I'd enjoy this
as an apertif with some British cured meats and cheeses.
